Garbage Dresses?
____________

I took my 13 year old cousin downtown to start teaching her how to take photos with my cameras. We had a blast! While we were there, we saw all of these dresses by designer row on Michigan Avenue. All of them were made from recycled materials including old pop cans, umbrellas, bubble wrap, pins, and other scrap materials.

I later learned that they were a collective project by students at the International Academy of Design and Technology. Here's some of what we saw:

Jon & Kayla
Saturday, August 2, 2008
Marquette, MI

_____________

Never before have I had the pleasure of working with a bride who was so detailed in her planning. The entire day went incredibly smoothly, especially the photography portion. To Kayla, photography was one of the most important parts of the day since she works in the photography field. She and Jon both chose several must have locations and some poses.

Kayla chose to get ready at one of the historic hotels in Marquette - The Landmark Inn. Their ceremony was held at Good News Assembly of God in Ishpeming, MI. Their reception was held at the Ramada in Marquette, MI. In the end, I truly hope that we managed to capture everything they were hoping for.

Jon and Kayla, I wish you endless happiness in your new life together. I hope that the photos that we took will be memories you and your family will cherish forever. Congratulations :)
