New Chapter, New Look

We've all had it happen.. well, most of us anyway... been dumped by what you thought was the love of your life for no real reason, and then find out that your ex has moved on almost instantly with their friend... only to find out that you had been an IDIOT and they had in fact been cheating on you with that person for GOD KNOWS how long. Pig.

Another cheater, another broken piece to try to pick up. I can only hope that what goes around truly will come around.

My way of dealing hasn't been the healthiest, but I am trying. While I didn't quite pull a Britney, I DID hack off my hair. I'm planning on doing a series of self portraits throughout the year as a side project. Here are a few really quick snapshots for now...

I needed some company, so today I brought home a little bengal kitten. He still doesn't have a name, but I'm working on it! Any suggestions?

I've named the little guy Miu (pronounced mmm-ewwww).

Hi, everyone.

I am writing a very special blog to ask you all for your help. Last fall, a former classmate of mine passed away suddenly. In celebration of her life, and to help prevent others from being taken too soon, Courtney Ksepka's friends have organized a heart walk on September 26, 2009 (Courtney's birthday). The money raised from this event will go towards research on heart disease.

PLEASE take a look at the website created in Courtney's memory, and donate to a cause that could someday benefit someone that you love.

I am proud to announce that this will be one of the many causes I will support this photography season in an effort to continue in my commitment to give back to the bigger picture in life.
