Nena & John - their engagement session

After spending the afternoon with Nena and John, I really can't wait to shoot their wedding in Jamaica next spring! These two, despite the most uncomfortable weather any of us could ever remember having in October, managed to deal with the uncomfortable sticky conditions, and somewhat embarrassing task of being photographed.

We ended up shooting at the same location that my couple from yesterday chose, however, we used the Japanese garden that was closed to us yesterday. There was this lady, who I will 'lovingly' refer to as the gate nazi, giving us a hard time for taking pictures once past the gates. I suavely talked my way into having her allow us use the garden for the session.

Schmoozing is a great skill to have... sometimes...

ANYWAY!!! On to the pictures. Can't wait til spring, you two :)

Christina & Rob - an engagment session

I cannot wait until this couple's wedding. Christina and Rob are two fun, energetic and photogenic people. They were willing to break the posted rules, and hopped a fence that clearly stated, "do not climb over fence." Because of that, I got one of my favorite shots of the day :)

Here's a preview, you two. You're the best!

Corin's Trash the Dress Session

Okay, so I admit, this was a mock session. Corin's not really married, and this isn't really her wedding dress. Actually, this is the dress that I found at the thrift store a few months ago. Anyway, Corin decided to help me in my quest to show brides that it's okay to get their gowns dirty. It's all about the pictures anyway!

Thanks again for your help, Corin. You're the best!
