And the battle continues...

I'm very ill. Oh, and I'm very disappointed. I had to cancel two shoots; two concert shoots. Tonight's concert is what upsets me though. I was supposed to be the additional photographer on Abra Moore's show at the Metro this evening. I've been listening to her music ever since I met her, and was really looking forward to finally seeing her play live.

I suppose that will just have to wait until June when she returns. That's okay. It will be in a more intimate setting, and I will actually get to chat with her again. She's such an interesting woman.

I have a very congested... well... bronchial/chest area; that's what's wrong with me. I'm sure that it will worsen and perhaps even turn into a nasal/sinus issue. I already feel the pressure.

I was lucky enough to have arranged for a fill-in camera op to take my afternoon portion of today's double shift at the chopper job (before I even got sick). I came home and crashed, and when I awoke, I had no voice. Down the hatch with the hot liquids.

Lovely.

Needless to say, all my weekend fun has now been canceled, and I have scheduled myself for a weekend filled with hot tea & honey, sleep, movies, and general aches, pains and misery...

What? You guys should know I'm a bit dramatic by now. Sheesh! ;)

Perhaps I will take this down time to get everything in order with the business. As an fyi, I've restructured a few of the things; namely the wedding photography pricing. I've decided to take a hit out of my personal earnings, and foot the bill for an album or coffee table book with EVERY wedding investment. No more a-la-carte; not unless additional copies are wanted.

Anyway, my brother has stepped up to the plate and has been gracious enough with his time to help me with the business end of things - that's his forte, not mine. I'm very lucky to have him as my brother :)

Well, there's no real reason for this blog. I'm just trying to make my eyes a little more tired so I can get some more rest.

Keep up the great work in spreading the word about the new website. I truly appreciate everyone's help!!! :)
