Niki's "Trash" the Dress Session
Downtown Chicago
__________

Today, I met Niki and her husband, Paul, downtown for a trash the dress session (more of an urban portrait shoot, to be honest). The weather was much too cold to have Niki go into any kind of water, but we did manage to get rained on at the end of the shoot :)

We also were lucky enough to have a few spontaneous things happen - like a large group of Asian tourists ask us to join their group photo, and a few little girls telling their mothers how pretty Niki looked at we were about to cross the street.

The highlight for me? I FINALLY got to use my favorite door in Chicago for a photo shoot :)

Enjoy!

_______________

I've known Christina since her Sister Alicia (one of my close friends back in the day) first introduced her to me back in high school. For me to be asked to photograph her wedding was a great honor (and a LOT of fun!).

After the beautiful ceremony, we headed to Waterfall Glen in Darien to take a few pics. Not knowing what to expect, the entire bridal party and I did our best to find some good photo spots around the park. We didn't have too much time, nor did we find much scenery, but we did manage to take a few great shots before having to head over to the reception at Alpine Banquets :)

Rob and Christina, I cannot thank you enough again for making me a part of your day. Congratulations to you both - you make such a wonderful couple!!!
