Last Saturday's wedding will be one that I know I will think back on often. The day was filled with humor around every corner, and a few touching moments that brought tears to the eyes of most.

Josh and Kelly - you are both two amazing, strong, and beautiful people. I truly wish you the best for your future together. Thank you so much for making me a part of such a special day in your lives.

I hope that your Jamaican honeymoon was amazing!! :)

I was given the amazing opportunity to photograph former Bush frontman, Gavin Rossdale, at his solo show in Chicago Sunday evening. I was extremely excited as soon as I heard the first guitar riff to "Everything Zen." The one crummy thing was that all the fun stuff to photograph came later on in the show - kneeling in front of the video camera to play a guitar solo, jumping around on stage, etc.

All in all though, I am thrilled to have gotten to take these pictures - the music he helped write was a part of my early teenage life, and I never got the opportunity to see him perform live until Sunday.

My best friend and I got together over the weekend to forget about life for a while, and just have fun. She played dress up, and I grabbed my camera. Here are a few images from our session.

I first met Scot while he was performing at a show. He's the lead singer of the band, Munroe. His fiance, Kristin, has got to be one of the sweetest women I have ever met. She was a huge help at the benefit concert over the weekend, and I cannot thank her enough for making things a lot less hectic that night.

The three of us met at the Chicago Botanical Garden last night. It was a hot and muggy evening, but Scot and Kristin managed to keep smiles on their faces, nevertheless. We tried to focus on getting a great shot for them to use for their save the date cards, but we still managed to get quite a few other great shots :)

I'm truly looking forward to your wedding in September!!! Congratulations again to you both!

I met with Dan, Cindy and Grace yesterday afternoon to take some photos for them. Dan will be returning to Afghanistan in just a couple of days to continue his duties there.
