I had to hold off from posting these pictures, because they were a surprise for my aunt and uncle. My cousins, Kyle and Ken, asked me if I could take some photos of them for a special Christmas present - what a perfect idea, right???

I'm so glad to be getting closer to my two cousins as we get older - they're really a lot of fun!

A Night at the Winery

In celebration of the New Year to come, plus Christmas with my other 'family,' the girls and Kaleb and I went to Cooper's Hawk Winery in South Barrington for a night of food, wine, silly faces and giggles. Shelly and I were instantly sold to become new members to this fabulous place, and REALLY enjoyed their sparkling wines a lot (not to mention the others that we sampled). Prince or Frog?

Boyle's Christmas gift to me (he's the pilot for WGN) this year was a magical snowball that was to either grant me the prince of my dreams, or a frog. He said this magical ball of 'snow' was much like the groundhog's shadow; in the event that I got a frog, I would surely meet my prince in six weeks. Well... that's yet to be seen...
